SYLLABUS 1 :
GAS RESERVOIR ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this training are to present the fundamental properties of different
sandstone reservoir types, learn how these properties affect reservoir performance, and
develop a workflow for their continued characterization from exploration success, through
appraisal, and field development using integrated geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering data.

COURSE OUTLINE
1. Introduction to sandstone depositional systems
2. Sedimentary rock properties
3. Geologic time and deposition of sedimentary
4. Well log and correlation strategies
5. Facies control on porosity and permeability
6. Fluvial depositional systems and reservoirs
7. Eolian depositional systems and reservoirs
8. Deltaic depositional systems and reservoirs
9. Shoreface/barrier island depositional systems and reservoirs
10. Deep marine depositional systems and reservoirs
11. Sequence stratigraphy and prediction of reservoir, source, and seal rocks

Ir. Berkah Budi Leksono,  M.T/ Team
 Mr. Leksono finished study in Oil and Gas at UPN Jogjakarta. He has man experiences in Oil and Gas, especially in equipment. His experiences based on oil and gas, like reservoir, petroleum production system, basic sonolog, productions operation, artificial lift, WOWS, surface production operation, etc.
 Mr. Leksono is a multidisciplinary Oil and Gas Professional about 20 years of hands-on experiences in the oil and gas field. As a professional in oil and gas, he has experiences at many company likes Elnusa Multi Industri, South Java Flood Control Sector Project for Field Facilitator, PT. Indulexco, and has experiences for finishing piping project with Elnusa (Cilacap to Jogjakarta Piping Systems). And as a professional consultant Mr. Leksono do various consulting jobs and he also teach various materials for oil and gas industries.
